Creating New Calendar

I have a calendar associated with my google identity, but when I went to VZW to get the Droid, they couldn't get my google account to validate, so they gave me a new one. That one is the only one the Droid will allow to associate a calendar with. When I touch "Add Calendar", the opportunity to do a new one is grayed-out. Do I need to remove the new account from Google and put the old one in its place or ????

Here you go.  Go to the settings and then tap the "accounts & sync" line, then"Add account" at the bottom and away you go with the other account!

I've added the new email account and it shows up under "Accounts", but "My Calendar" still won't let me add a new calendar. It remains greyed out.
