How do I clear map history from my Android phone?  I tried "Settings" but couldn't find "Applications" to reach the next step mentioned on other forums

We need to get the maps cleared. Which device do you have?
Have you attempted to clear the application cache?

I have the Droid RAZR MAX by Motorola.

Can't find my way to "Applications".  When I go to Settings,

"Applications" does not appear on any of the menus.

Already tried the forums to get advice; couldn't find a solution that

works.

Appreciate any help you can provide.

It should be settings > Apps > all tab to phones on ICS (Android 4.0 +) and using a more stock interface. The DROID Razr Maxx is on of those devices.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Royr Go to your settings as Tamra suggested and then instead of looking for Applications Look for Apps there is a Red shape box next to Apps Tap there). If there your Maps you'll have to Scroll up on top you'll see Downloaded > Internal Storage > Running > then All From there Scroll up the Page till you come to Google Maps or the Maps your wanting to run the Cache Clear on..

Well, I got closer, but still not there.

After tapping Apps, screen displays "No apps".  Scrolled and  found "Maps"

listed twice.  Tapped the one with subheader, "1 process  and 1 service".

The only usable key on the Maps page is  "Stop". Can't find anything about

"cache".

Instead of tapping "Maps" when I tap "show cached processes" the menu

doesn't include Maps or any other likely option to go to.

I'm new to smart phones but the process to clear search history isn't

intuitive.

Unfortunately I can't get to the screens you provided links to. When I tap

"Apps" it goes to a screen which displays "No Apps". If I tap "RUNNING"

then "Maps" I get a screen with the "Map" icon displayed in three places, and

the only operable button is "STOP". So, do I need to download "Maps" even

though Maps is already on my device?! Confusing.

Doesn't work for me. Like I said in previous email, after tapping "apps"

I get a screen displaying "No apps". Not the same as screen shot you sent.
