I have a motorola droid and want to go back to the w755. Do I need a new memory card?

no you don't.

if you took subsidization for the Droid then you can't get rid of the data plan either until the end of the contract.

Thank you for reaching out to us about this. We're always happy to help out in any way we can. We know having the right accessories is very important. You might need a new memory card if you want to increase the storage of your phone, because the W755 can only accept a 4GB memory card. Most smart phones use much larger memory cards today, so you may need to take that into account.
