Hello,
I have an existing contract with Verizon which ends on April 18th, 2013. If I buy the new Samsung SIII from AmazonWireless.com do I still have to pay the early termination fee?

Since you are still under contract, you would be required to buy a phone at full price. You can not have two accounts under the same social security number.

Buying at full price does have one, and only one, advantage. If you have unlimited data, paying full price allows you to keep it. If you buy a phone at subsidized price, you lose the unlimited data and have to chose a data plan. At least, this is what I understand the case to be.

Plus if the phone is purchased at full price, Verizon Wireless doesn't charge the $30 upgrade fee.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

If the GS III is for Verizon service why would you have to pay a ETF at all?
