Broken screen. How to access my files with phone locked?

My screen broke but my phone still works (razr Maxx). i want to access my phone via usb but all i can do is the motocast install which does not give me access to the internal memory. is there a way to gain access to the phone even though the screen is locked? i also borrowed a motorola lapdock 100 from someone but the manual says i have to unlock the screen first so it seems this may not help either. any suggestions? thank you

Hi kilrgti,

I am sorry to hear your screen is broken. Does the phone respond with something on the display when its connected into the charger? You have to use the lock code to access the device or you can try a hard reset. That would allow you to access the device without the lock code but the data would be lost.
