Purchased Verizon Droid LG Ally in January. Aside from the lousy battery life, now it is overheating. Can't even leave it charging overnight. Getting message to disconnect because of overheating. Can't find anything on Verizon website to help.

It's either the battery or the phone, take the phone to the store to have them test the battery - if it's at fault they will replace the battery, if it's the phone and you are under warranty they should be able to replace the device.
