Battery Life

I just got my droid eris last night. I didnt turn the power on I let it charge all night. This morning I turned it on and did all the set up stuff and connected to wifi. I have texted a lot with it but I don't think texting would drain the battery life 100%. So does being connected to wifi drain the battery a lot?

Yes..the WIFI will use alot of battery. I would suggest downloading an APP such as the Advanced Task Killer to kill applications that might continue running on your phone after use. The battery on my DROID seemed to be dying quickly when I first got it but after installing the task killer I haven't had a problem. The battery lasts even after hours of app use.
