We know the benefit on being able to use wireless charging on your device, bgold63. The Asus Zenfone V does have wireless charging capabilities, yes.

ASUS makes no such statement and I have tried with my Zenfone V. It does not charge wirelessly. It does support USB-C fast charging (Qualcom) at least.

If Verizon can prove to the contrary, I'd say they owe me a replacement phone that does work with wireless charging.

Completely wrong and misleading answer from vzw_customer_"support" .
ASUS Zenfone V doesn't support the wireless charging, which is not really needed feature. USB-C connector doesn't require much attention during the connection while with ASUS BoostMaster charger one can charge the phone from 0 to 100% less than in hour.
