I recently upgraded to the Samsung Stratosphere. All I want to do is assign text tones to contacts so I know who is texting me without looking. Can it be done?
You need a third party app to assign ringtones to individual contacts for text message notifications.

emjohn - I am glad to see you are looking to utilize fancy capabilities on your device. We want you to have options for everything possible. The option to set text tones is not a featured option on the device. However, you are able to download an app from the Playstore that has those functions. Let us know if you need anymore assistance.
