I am done waiting with no official word . Here;s my post from a similar thread!
Just to let all you friends and family know: Verizon may have great coverage but they have LOUSY , un-caring , Customer Service and they aren't getting ANYMORE of my money. So ,Verizon Wireless this is for you :
Yep . I am leaving Verizon over how they have totally refused to communicate to Verizon loyal customers ( like me) about the Galaxy Note Edge phablet. I will be on AT&T tomorrow with a Galaxy Note Edge from AT&T! Way to retain loyal customers Verizon. Let me know how that works out for you in the long run. Can 't wait to see your retention numbers for Q1 2015 ! Verizon needs to learn that even loyal customers WILL LEAVE if VZW fails to at least ACKNOWLEDGE that there is a delay in releasing the newest device. (That the verizon Edge "plan" , therefore, falsely advertises -that you can have the LATEST tech on Vzw Edge plan. The Note Edge is latest tech and it is NOT on Vzw, delayed over 6weeks compared to other carriers. ) So , I am headed to AT&T tomorrow ! Later, Verizon ( oh and next time I get surveyed about products I love and ones I hate- guess which list you will be on ? . I do believe I'm on the JDPowers survey list for 2015 -and I can't WAIT to share ALL about you to them! ) And no , I dont care that there is a "new " rumored date of release for Jan 8th. Of course, there's no official word from Verizon , that would be a courtesy and good customer care- and Verizon doesn't have THOSE things EITHER! Stay away from Verizon - FAR away!

They probably are somebody who has researched technology. I work/own a computer/cell business and we get just as much information as the reps at Verizon, hence when you call, they say that reps will not know additional information about the item(s) newly released. Samsung and Verizon post a ton of status updates and press releases, the proof of it coming out is obvious. I'm trying to help you get the proof you need to know the phone is coming. It's supposed to be a support forum, but if you reject any/all requests for help, how can people help?

Verizon coverage is okay at best, I have way too many dropped calls. I don't see the 8th as to when they release the Note Edge and very tempted to switch to AT&T even if it cost me $150.00

As a followup, this is a preorder place on Samsung's website, for the Note Edge on Verizon. As far as I can see now from talking to them by email correspondence, is that it is set to release on the 8th of January. Samsung usually is pretty accurate with their release dates, so hold onto hope here, all hope is not lost.

That's a coverup on their part, if that's honestly what they're telling you, because they brand the phones to the specific phone. Working with selling cases for them, entails the manufacturer of the case to email us stating when the cases will be sold by us, and what phones it will have and what carriers it will be released on. This is months and at one instance, a year, before the carriers even mentioned anything about the phone in the least bit.
