Am I eligible to return/exchange my Galaxy Nexus?

I purchased the Galaxy Nexus on or around 12/22/2011. Since I got it, it will restart itself a few times a day at least. Some times I wont even be using it when it restarts. I've done a factory reset and still experience the problem.
After I got the phone and activated it, I did an AoL in order to get on my fiance's plan. This voided my manufacturer's warranty (something I wish they would have told me when i bought the phone, as they were aware that I intended to do an AoL).
I do have insurance on the phone, but I dont want to pay the $50 fee to get a new phone because this one has issues.
Am I out of luck on being able to return or exchange my Nexus at a VZW store?
