After Update of Samsung Galaxy 3 I have annoying lights that come on when i recieve calls and when i use the alarm clock. How do i get rid of the lights?

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Flash notification.  If the box is unchecked, check it and then uncheck it.  If it is checked, uncheck it,  You may have to restart the phone to get it to 'take'.
