Need help...just purchased Droid to replace my blackberry. Problem once I view an email or delete an email from my driod it is lost and no longer in my IN BOX on AOL. This is a problem , I travel and need to be able to hold emails so I can address some more important files once at a computor station. Need help. I have been told that it relates to telling AOL server to hold a copy, but AOL says it is a phone setting...but I can't find anywhere in the email set up to make this set up.
I had this problem and fixed it by updating my AOL mailbox to AOL mailbox v9.5 (AOL keyword : "inbox"). You basically just press a button and reboot and your mailbox, it is then upgraded to their new universal standardized mailbox. (They also have a good help article to help explain the mailbox conversion.) Good Luck!
