My friend locked my phone (first Incredible) last night. I went to unlock it and it asks for an email and password. Neither my hotmail (which is signed into my phone currently) or my Gmail that I never connected let me into the phone. I really don't want to do a reset on my phone, but I really need to use it! Is there any way to bypass a factory reset without knowing the name and password to the phone?

Thats a cruel joke! The email account it wants is Gmail, but if never connected to the device, the credentials will never work. An alternative hard reset is the option to get the device unlocked. Here are the steps: http://bit.ly/QkmHLl. Keep me posted!
