My phone, a Galaxy S6 Edge, usually operates on the 4G network. For the past three to four days my phone shows that I am on the 3rd network. What is the problem and how can it be fixed?

1) Turn on Airplane mode and then disable airplane mode
If that don't work
2) try rebooting your phone
if that don't work
3) see if you toggled off 4g. I haven't had a Samsung since S4. I think though in most android phones they have an option to disable 4g with a toggle when you pull down on the status bar and see the quick settings.
Other than that I am unsure what could be your issue. Verizon will tell you to reboot your phone and factory reset if you call most likely.
