Receiving Multiple Reoccuring Texts from 118012222269

I recently upgraded to the Droid.  I love the phone by I am having two reoccuring issues:

1.  I am receiving multiple reoccuring emails from 118012222269.  It says "//BREW:0104F4BC ZMAIL CI=E3AF70AE998A904ABEE229BBFBA5D MC=1.  To stop these messages simply reply to this one (charge may apply).

I have reply many times in different formats, however they don't stop.  Advice?

2. I sent a text message to an email account and received a Failure to Deliver notification.  Fair enough.  However, now I constantly have a new message icon appear on the status bar.  When I pull it down it shows one unread message.  I click on the message and it brings me to a compose message screen.  I can't seem to convince the Droid that I have already seen that message.  Advice?

This is because your prevoius phone you possibly had and email service on it like Mobile Email.  You will need to call into Tech Support and they can remove that.

I was recieving the same thing. Pretty standard reply to stop this kind of thing is to text the word 'stop' back to them as a reply. I did that and recieved a message acknowledging that and have had no more come in.

Thank you.  It worked!!  Yesterday, I simply replied "STOP."  No acknowledgement was sent to me, but am relieved this problem was solved without having to waste any time with Tech Support.
