Your 2 Favorite Droid Apps

Taking the queue from someone in the "Incredible ship date" thread, I thought it would be cool to have a discussion of apps.  List your two favorite apps and why you like them.  And for those of you out there like myself, who are impatiently waiting still, list the first two apps you plan to download when you finally get your precious.

My two favoriate apps are:

1.  Spoof - You can make any number appear on caller ID along with changing your voice.

2.   RingDroid - You can create your own ringtones using the music in your phone or record a ringtone.

I was going to say iMusic as my 2nd favoriate, but it is no longer available in the market to download.  It was one of the best app's out there.

That Spoof app sounds need.  I'm quite the prankster with my friends, so it just might come in handy.

How about we extend this idea a little further and include 2 apps that are not even worth the time spent downloading.

The spoof app is fun to use. :smileyvery-happy:

Two apps not even worth downloading:

1. imeem - you can't even listen to songs on there any more.Myspace bought it so listening to music stopped being free. Useless app.

2.  Xray app - It sounds cool, but doesn't even work properly.

Always remember to look at users comments on the app itself before purchasing an app. Then you can see if it is worth downloading & purchasing or not.

1) CamCard - Business card -> Contact.  Works most of the time and saves a lot of typing to add new business contacts.

2) Pandora - Love listening to the streaming radio...

Sorry, couldn't narrow down to just two but here goes, in no particular order. Handcent: sms app, much better than stock, customizable, even down to notifications. Dolphin HD: web browser. The original dolphin went through some rough spots, but with this version for 2.1 it's becoming really slick. SoundHound: ID most music, even that you sing or hum yourself. Armored Strike: best game on the market.

My all time favorite is Google Sky.  Show exactly where start are located in reality. The other app is Movies, i can see movie times and trailers of any movie that is currently playing.

Hi!  Great topic!   I would love to share my thoughts on the applications.  My favorite application by far is the Facebook Mobile.  It is the application I use every hour :smileyhappy:   Another application I use on a day to day basis in my free time is the Pandora music application.  I love music :smileywink:

Like TheGreatOne did mention (took me a while to figure this out), it is best to read the comments before you download an application.   That way you will know the issues everyone else his having before you download.

Thanks!

Lookout Mobile ( just disable the virus protection because you dont need it).  This will backup all of your contacts as well as your photos.  In addition, if you lose your phone it will make it scream so you can find it!!

Shopsavvy: uses your camera to scan barcodes and provide you with purchase information such as where available, lowest price, cust reviews etc.  Wish more products were in the system, but have saved a few bucks on some high ticket items using the software.

on the not to get side,

ezparking.  supposed to be a gps locator that lets you know exactly where your car is.  Tried it at Disney World and it kept popping a gps error.  Had it worked it would be perfect for when you park in a lot at big events (or for those times your park the car and reach a level of inebriation that makes finding it difficult.  of course at that point you shouldn't be driving anyway!!)

Almost forgot, everybody should have advanced task killer to keep their battery from draining every 5 minutes!!!
