DROID RULE BASED TEXT MESSAGING?

I receive a variety of TEXT MESSAGE PAGES from my employer.

Does anyone know of an app that in will let me do the following:

     * identify the type of text via certain key words within the text message

     * identify the type of text by certain key numbers in the sender

    * allow me to have different alert sounds based on the senders, and words within the text

It would have to work somewhat like RULES in MS OUTLOOK

I don't have much to add, but I am fairly sure there are applications in the market that allow for custom ringtones based on the sender of the text message. Handcent sms, missed call, Who is it, and others are some applications I have heard of that can have this option. Sorry I haven't used any of them. Hopefully someone else will chime in and give you a recommendation.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

One thing you might ask your employer is if they can send to an actual email. Most systems, if they can send an SMS, they can send a simple SMTP message to an email address. If they can do that, then it opens up your options.
