Will those on 55+ plans be eleigible for the 5G option? Because if not, it's illegally discriminatory towards customers who may want to upgrade to the newer 5G devices.

I'm in downtown Chicago in the first VZW 5G deployment area. There's VZW 5G equipment on a light pole 200 ft. from my front door. I have a Moto z2 DROID Force that received the Android Pie update two weeks ago and I have the 5G moto mod. My plan is the Go Unlimited 55+ plan. My moto mod wouldn't automatically activate when I installed it on my phone for the first time. Instead, it instructed me to call Verizon Wireless customer support. I made the call and a new line was added for the moto mod for $10.00 per month. For two weeks I've had 5G on my Moto z2 DROID Force for $10 per month on top of my Go Unlimited 55+ plan.
