Does anyone know when Verizon is releasing a 4G network extender? My Android apps are always disconnecting and reconnecting, killing my battery, when I'm home. I can never stay connected long enough to send out a message. This is annoying! I'm sure AT&T's network isn't much better since there's a lot of trees in my city so it can't be helped but whoever figures out how to build an antenna that deals with residential suburbs well, I will kiss them.

My apologies to you about a 4G network extender not being available at this time. There hasn't been any official information released as of when there will be a 4G network extender. We will keep you and other community members posted a new info becomes available.

Trunksy, I don't think that is the problem, what you describe is just the normal disconnect problem, if you go to the driod forums you will see this complaint from many VZ customers. The only work around is to lock to 3G unless you are going to need the speed then change back to LTE. On the bright side, once they fix the issue you should be fine as I believe trees don't affect the signal with LTE as much, I have total forest between me and the tower and I am not seeing much degradation of signal with the leaves now back in full force.
My cell service at home is terrible. I usually have "ZERO" bars. On a good day I may have "ONE" Bar. My calls are terrible. Lost, can't hear me now, etc.
My Thunderbolt has the 4G showing at all times.
What are my options so I can use my phone?
If I buy the 3G samsung NE what will happen.
Any update as to when you will have a 4G NE?

UMMMM you really only need the network extender for voice as it requires a highspeed internet connection just use wifi for the data.
imho it shouldnt matter if its 3g or 4g
And over 18 months later, there still isn't one.... Their current (old) femtocell is buggy and many people complain about outages that may last for days, even with multiple resets. When is VZW going to make available a femtocell with current technology?
