Not getting any 4G signal...both wife's phone & mine show 3G only, keep searching for wi-fi.

Have you tried rebooting the phones to see if that will reestablish the connection?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

No joy with that. Sigh…

I was in the west valley the other day and nothing out of the norm, kept an LTE signal most of the time. I am in Tempe and in certain areas I will only get 3G as well....as Ann154 mentioned, restarting the device usually does the trick. Hope it's working by now.

i'm in north phoenix and central phoenix most of the day and night. mine has been dropping to 3g a lot over the past 2-3 days. i restart it everyday after i charge it, but it's still dropped to 3g a few times. i just assumed they were working on some towers or something.

I recently went from the Note 3 to the S4...it dropped to 3G often on the Note 3 but since going back to the S4 it hasn't dropped to 3G as often. I experienced most of the drops when putting the phone in my pocket while on the Note 3, so I am not sure if it was the phone, or as you mentioned, towers being worked on or all just a coincidence. Either way, comforting and sucks at the same time I am not the only one here...there was someone else in another thread here in AZ as well who had the Note 3 experiencing 4G dropping to 3G too.

yeah, i've had the note 3 for months now and this JUST started, and i haven't received any updates so it leads me to think it's an issue with the towers. however, i don't think my wife's s3 has had the issue AND i have wifi isuues with my note 3 so maybe it is the phone. i have to say, overall, the note 3 doesn't really impress me. i had none of these problems with my note 2.

Ditto. I gave my Note 2 to my niece and no issues there. Have you called Tech Support? I did a couple of days ago and basically got a speech about how towers work and in the end, was told whether I have 3G or 4G, as long as there is a signal then there is no issue. Not certain dropping to 3G so often here in Phx with wall to wall LTE constitutions as acceptable, but there seems to be nothing that can be done per Verizon. At this point, I remain optimistic and hope Verizon releases the new HTC One sooner than later and there are no signal issues with it.

no....i don't bother calling verizon's support. there's a huge issue with wifi in a LOT of these note 3's as well (which i also experience). if i can't find a solution here or on other forums, then there's not a solution. i'm convinced the radio's in these just aren't that good. i'll likely go back to my note 2 until i find something else that interests me. my problem is that i often get the "your wifi connection is unstable" message and it drops in and out. i finally figured that since i have enough data, i just won't use wifi and leave it off, and simply use LTE......until this started happening. now it lacks stable wifi AND can't hold an LTE signal.

Its so frustrating! I am back on the S4 and no issues...just spent a few days in Vegas and between here and there, I keep 4G pretty much the whole time with the exception of driving and being in the middle of nowhere. Just disappointed because I paid full price for the N3 and experienced all the same issues.
