I have a model 6620L jetpack that I use strictly for internet access for my desktop computer. I have a data only Verizon monthly plan. The jetpack sits on the computer desk and does not change locations. My issue is signal strength coming to the jetpack. I can go from 4 strength bars (RSRP of -88dBm) to 1 strength bar (RSRP of -115 dBm) within one or 2 minutes with no change in the weather, sunshine, wind, etc. and no change in the jetpack location. What is causing this rapid and wide variation in my signal strength? Does it depend on the activity level on the tower? Is it because I am a data only customer and hence a lower priority than voice customers? The "Roaming" line on my jetpack screen reads "No"....does that have an impact on this issue? I am frustrated because the wide signal varuiation directly impacts my download/upload speeds. Can anyone explain what is causing this variation and how do I correct it?
