Horrible Data Throttling (even on unlimited plan + premium data) - Very Upset Customer

So issues started last week, according to Verizon rep when they implemented new plans.  I was on a normal unlimited plan and all of the sudden while at work I could not go to any websites or stream anything during lunch (or any time).  I could not do anything that required the use of data.

I called and they, of course, want me to pay more for "premium data" which is supposed to mean I am not throttled for that amount of data.

I decided to try it and test the waters and here I am we have just rolled over and I have only used 1gb of data (supposed to get 25 premium) and I have done 3 speed tests it took me 20 minutes to download the 35.5mb speed test application (just ridiculous).

The download is 0.31 Mbps/ upload is 0.74 and it is fairly consistent.

Co-Worker behind me is not on an unlimited plan with Verizon and is getting over 4Mbps down/ 14 up.

I think it may just be time to switch carriers.  I had a ticket opened yesterday and still no change.  What is the point of having an "unlimited" plan when you are throttled and cannot do anything with your phone?

My Boss who is on AT&T Unlimited is getting 26Mbps (hmmm seems like I know where I might need to take my money).

no comparison if other worker doesn't have the same phone you do.

most of the time the best you'll see from the network is 5-12mbps & can be much slower.

And that's why Verizon is overloaded. Too many people on the network. ATT would be the same if the subcribers migrated. Actually, that wouldn't be a bad idea. Maybe my speed would pick up.
