4G LTE is not on in any of west KY either. Paducah, not on even though a respectable size community. But, you can drive by little ol' metropolis IL or Joppa (ever heard of it?), and it is on there. Kinda backwards.

First of all it will be there by summer at the latest, but from I gather they are actually testing it there right now. When they started testing 4G in my area we got it within a month.

I would love to know where you are getting this info? I have talke to ALL verizon stores about 4g no response. I have called verizon NUMEROUS times no response. I also agree that it seems backwards that a tiny town like Metropolis, IL or Joppa(even smaller) would have 4g and not Paducah. The only explanation i can think of is they built a new tower in Metropolis. Now why they would go through all that trouble and expense of building a new one before just upgraded the existing ones in Paducah i have no idea. Same for Murray. I don't live there but it is a college town with 3g coverage. Again, would seem cheaper to do all the upgrades first before building a new tower in a third or fourth teir town at best. All i know is 4g phones are selling like "HOTCAKES" in Paducah. Mifi 4g hotspots etc. THEY BETTER DO SOMETHING IN PADUCAH SOON!!!

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I read. Not to sound sarcastic, but the info is out there if you search for it. All market will have LTE by mid 2013 and all 3G areas will have LTE by the end of 2013.

Well.... I know one tower just south of me was turned on a few days ago, and finally yesterday we started getting 4G in my house off and on.... So it looks like they're testing it and we'll soon have it! Finally get use what I pay for.

Data is data. There is no upcharge for 4G. You pay the same price for 3G and 4G. So, if you are getting data of any kind, you're getting what you pay for.
