why am I unable to use the newer 4g phones on my prepaid account, I don't care about the 4g network i will gladly stay on 3g since 4g isn't in my area anyway, I just want a better phone that runs more smoothly, I am currently using the droidx but was planing on getting a droid rzar until i found out i cant use it for prepaid because its a 4g device.

There are certain 4g phones that are compatible, but the RAZR is not a prepaid compatible phone.

Is there a list of what phones will work on prepaid? I have called customer support twice and they first told me it would work, but after researching online I deciding to call them again and they told me only 3g devices will work.I feel if Verizon is going to only allow certain phone to be on their prepaid plan the customer services reps need to know which ones will work and they should have a list of devices that will work under prepaid listed on the website.

NO, you can't use any 4G LTE phone on the prepaid smartphones plans offered by Verizon Wireless. At this time they are restricted to 3G only devices no matter what anyone else says. If you want official confirmation, contact the prepaid customer service at (888) 294-6804.

The HTC Droid Incredible 2 is a 3G only smartphone. It is eligible to be activated on a prepaid smartphone monthly plan. The rest are 4G LTE phones and aren't eligible.

I have contacted customer service twice one said i could the other said i could not, why cant Verizon just make a public list of what phones are supported for prepaid. also what is month to month wouldn't that be the same thing as prepaid, Verizon web-shop says i can get 4g phones on a month to month plan.
Month to Month
Don't want to be bound to a contract, or avoid early termination fees? We have created the solution for you. Stay connected to Verizon's 4G LTE network, no matter what kind of device you have, for as long as you want.
You can pay month to month on any device — Smartphone, Basic Phone, Data Device (including Verizon Jetpack, USB Modem, Tablet or Connected Device) or HomeFusion Broadband device.
Just purchase your device(s) at full-retail price and then pay for your data month to month. Unlimited Talk and Text are included. Connect up to 10 devices so you can share your minutes, messages and data.
