HELP! My Navigation has disappeared

A few days ago I noticed the GPS software that came with my Samsung Galaxy SIII is no longer on my phone.  I think it's called "Navigation" (it's a blue arrowhead-like icon) but I can't find it in my apps, in my Google account, nor in the Play Store.

Has anyone else had this happen?  Does someone know something about the "disappearing app" that I don't?  Most importantly, does anyone know how I can get it back?  I loved that app and use it all of the time.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Google recently updated Maps and in that update, the separate Navigation app was removed since the function is now incorporated into Maps.
