I just got my Samsung Galaxy S3 and I did not see Backup Assistant or Backup Assistant Plus Apps on my Samsung Galaxy S3. How can I download Backup Assistant or Backup Assistant Plus Apps?

If the phone already has the Jelly Bean update (4.1), you will not find the Backup Assistant Plus listed in your apps. It has been integrated into the Settings. You should find it under the Accounts heading in the Settings menu. Select it and you will get a list of items that you can backup along with other settings. You can force a Backup by pressing the Backup now button at the bottom of the listing.

Thank you for the answer. I did not realize it has been incorporated into
the setting.

Before the Jelly Bean upgrade, you could find it listed in all Apps. After the upgrade, they decided to change things.

BA+ on the S3 with Verizon is VERY buggy. I'm running the absolutely latest version as of June 2013.
If I try to turn *OFF* the "back up contacts"... it gives a communication error. Huh? Turning it OFF is a problem?
If I try to back up using a fully security, fully working wi-fi connection... it fails. No details. (Is this 3G/4G use only? Wasting my very limited, very expensive data plan?)
It pesters me with daily failure notices... even when I don't want to back up anything. What can't I control it?
The only backup choice I see is "contacts"... what about everything else? Really?
It says I have 4 more guesses on my password... even if I try 10 different passwords. Very poor design.
It says "backing up 0 of 0 contacts". How can something back up "0 contacts"? (I have about 40.... so that's not even possible.) Math error.
Suggestions about "clear the cache" aren't possible. Mine doesn't list any "clear cache" button.
Clicking on the "report" button is impossible. It's ghosted out. (Did they get far too many complains about this app?)
Needless to say... avoid BA+. In addition to all the above problems... there are about 10 more non-working or very odd features in it.
Awful design. We would have NEVER released this extremely buggy app to the public.
