According to my Gut Feeling an a Call to Motorola will Determine this for Me:   I Don't care what a Magazine/Developer says if the Device or Devices say the Capacity is {32Gig} you better not Monkey around with it. Because it could Darn sure Damage it an i will tell you this i bet it's not by covered by the Warranty! if something happens to the Device while it's in it...

I wanted to add this an I am not trying to bend tensions on here but it's like this:  MOTOROLA , VERIZON  AN THE SD CARD COMPANIES as far as i can SEE has not give the Green Light to Use 64GB Cards in these Devices. So to me telling some one yes you can use something that has not gotten the Green Light. Is like telling them hey Go ahead an Cross the Street even though the Light is Red...

Thanks for the feedback, B33.   I know a number of folks wonder if it's worth the extra money so it's good to get some feedback on what you think.  I'm glad you're happy with your purchase. Smiley Happy

I know I'm late to the party on this, but figured I give my latest experience considering everyone's upgrading to ICS now.

I do have a Sandisk Ultra 64GB Class 10 that I installed about a week ago and it is working fine. Obviously had to reformat the card before installing in the phone but ended up giving me over 59GB of usable space. No more worries of not being able to stream music over Google Play when I'm not in a good reception area!!

Hope this help!

I know this is an old thread, but as an FYI, max SD card size has to do with a maximum addressable limit because of the operating system in use.  For those who have been around the block a few times, remember how with each computer operating system they could only see XX amount of hard drive space and use XX amount of RAM memory space.  The same applies to cell phone running an operating system of whatever type.  Depending on how many bits the operating system is, there is a limitation to how much or how far that operating system can count.  That limit equals the max size of the SD or Micro SD card that a phone can support or use.

You can by a card that is over that limit, and put it in but the phone simply will not use it.  The operating system can not count that high to reference or store data beyond that barrier.  As far as the cell phone is concerned if it can only reference 32 GB, your 64GB chip will only be a 32GB Class 10 chip.

Just though I would add my 2 cents.  btw, great research and work Sally!!!!

I most certainly agree, my response was more for information on the confusion of Max SD size for a given cell phone, it is a physical limitation of the operating system to read a larger memory card only.
