.I have tried the following set ups: pop-server.triad.rr.com, port number 110; mobile-smtp.triad.rr.com, or mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com, or smtp-server.triad.rr.com, and port 25 or 587. I use time Warner's wifi network with all set up attempts. After all set ups fail, Time Warner's recommendation is to use gmail.

Roadrunnr chat has provided me with at least three different email setups. None work. Chat has not solved the problem. K9 is the solution suggested by Verizon. It works! Happy Holidays.

It should be pop-server.your city.rr.com Port 110 for incoming. smtp-server.your city.rr.com Port 587 for outgoing, I live in the greater Kansas City area so my incoming reads pop-server.kc.rr.com port 110. I have never had any problems with any of my smartphones, including a Blackberry. However, having a Gmail account really is a good idea.

I have tried this recommended email setup. This set up worked on my phone until a few weeks ago. However it continues to work on my wife’s phone. Roadrunner now recommends the following set up: pop-server.triad.rr.com 110 and mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com 587. This setup up also fails to work.
Neither, roadrunner nor Time Warner have offered a solution that works.
Thanks for your response.

This set of steps has worked for me each time my LG phone crashed, and I had to re-setup my Roadrunner email account.
