Does the LG Spectrum have the capable hardware?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I don't believe it has all the hardware to fully appreciate JB; I don't think it has an NFC chip, for example

I'm still waiting for ICS to get to the LG Spectrum. Never mind Jelly Bean. When are they coming out with Key Lime Pie? That's my favorite.

It may, but the problem is... LG doesn't have the best track recorded supporting their devices... Even in Korea...

Gee Whiz! A miracle. I am downloading ICS to my Spectrum even as I am typing this. Finally!

I have ICS on my Lucid. Anyways my last 3 phones have been LG phones. I'm not tied to LG it just happens to work out that way and I've not had any issues with them.
My first smarthpone was Motorolla v325. Worked fine for me got many years about of it even passed it on to 2 other people. I did know 2 other people that got the same phone at the same time as me and in both cases it went belly up within a year. So like anything your mileage will vary.

I'm enjoying ICS. it's definitely an improvement from gingerbread. I'm getting better battery life on my phone too. SO I'm not really interested in Jellybean even if my phone could get it. Unless someone cares to explain what improvements Jellybean has over ICS.
