scroll to your quick settings screen which is to the left of your main home screen and check to see if "wifi" is switched to "on". if not turn it on. also make sure "data" is turned to the off position.

Are you getting 4G there? Sometimes it comes up in 3G in 4G areas. If that happens, just turn on Airplane Mode and then turn it back off again. That should reset it to 4G service. Also keep in mind that at the present time, LTE does NOT do voice calls, only DATA. So if you plan to use your phone for calls only at a given time, turn Mobile Data OFF. That will save big on battery life. When you turn WiFi ON (as per previous poster) it should notify you that WiFi networks are available.

cityfire04,
Just to clarify are you having difficulties connecting to WiFi or to the mobile network? If WiFi is enabled, but you are not connected to your home WiFi network, you will be unable to access the internet. If you are attempting to connect to the mobile network you will want to ensure that WiFi is turned off. Any additional details you can provide will be appreciated!
Thank you,
