Can I reactivate my old LG phone while waiting for a replacement phone to be sent out?

Yes you can. It won't effect your replacement.

Yes, but it depends on the phone also. What kind of phone are you going to reactivate on the line, and what kind of phone are you waiting for a replacement? Depending on the models, there may or may not be extra charges needed to be added or removed based on the phone.

The only charge that could happen would be a problem with the data pkg if they currently have a smartphone with unl data.

is there another way to reactivate a basic phone online while waiting for my smart phone replacement?  *228 won't allow me to do it

  What is your current data plan? Are you on the Family Share Everything, or on an individual data plan? If it is individual, are you on an unlimited plan, or a tiered usage (2GB, 4GB, etc) plan? The reason I ask, if you are on an unlimited plan or if you have the "Double Your Data" plan of 4GB for the price of 2, when you activate the basic phone, it will drop your data plan out, and then when you activate your new smart phone, you will either be put in the Family Share Plan, or on an individual tiered plan, (again, 2GB, 4GB, etc).
