I can assist you in syncing your contacts with the RAZR device. I know how important and convenient having this information on my phone is to me, so I completely understand why this is an issue for you.

I am having the same issue and error message when syncing contacts on my Droid 3:  "Subscription cannot be confirmed at this time.  Please contact Verizon customer support for assistance."

  I appreciate you showing us how to sync contacts with google, and the document you linked was very clear. I've setup google to sync my contacts and tried the soft reset.

However, the verizon backup assistant still will not sync.  Worse, it still attempts to do so every day.  I cannot turn it off, as the backup scheduler only has options for what time to day to schedule it, and no options to not backup.  It is also a protected app and cannot be uninstalled.
