I just got my Maxx about a week ago and I'm shopping for a few cases for it.
My frustration lies in the fact that I can not find any information on these different models.
I did figure out what the difference between the XT912 & the XT912M but what about the other two?
Some cases state they will only fit an XT913/XT916 and the same for the XT912M.
I'm not finding exactly what I want in searching for an XT912M cover.
Does anyone know what the differences there are between these mocel numbers or some sort of comparison chart?
Thanks

I am having the same issue. Just got my Razr Maxx yesterday and am looking online for cases. My phone info says XT912. I'm wondering why it's not XT916 as I'm finding the Maxxs are labeled. The Razrs are XT912 from what I'm finding. Doesn't make sense. Do you have any answers yet? Thanks, Maria

I agree this is very confusing and it would be helpful if Motorola had something on their site about it, but I haven't found it if there is.
As far as I know, the XT916 is Maxx also. Cases I've seen as labeled for the Maxx also say XT916.
But yes, it would be nice if there were a chart somewhere.

The non-Maxx Razr and Razr Maxx share model number and FCC ID. Pics here if you're interested.

SallyC, thanks for posting this. I just don't get where the XT 913 and
XT916 come into play then. Cases are advertised for sale on Amazon with
these numbers following the words Razr Maxx to distinguish them. Are they for
foreign use I wonder? Why would that even matter for a case???? Hmmm.

I wish I knew more. The XT910 is the GSM international version that's on sale in China. But I agree that with all the numbers that are thrown around when you're trying to select accessories, it can be confusing.
