You guys are wasting you time hoping that the lumia 900 will show up on verizon. They have clearly stated that they do not feel the need to introduce a third platform (windows) in their line of phones. This is a policy decision, and is not going to change any time soon. If you like windows phone ATT is the way to go.
The decision is hard to understand because the only windows phone sold by verizon: HTC trophy, though completely outdated, has the highest rated phone on their own website (you can check this yourself). The lumia 900 has extremely good reviews on amazon wireless:http://wireless.amazon.com/b/684177011/ref=topnv_tn_bo_w7?phones_categoryOS=osWindowsMobile
My contract has already expired, and am planning on moving to ATT, just want a few more weeks user reviews to be published online on amazon wireless.
Yeah, moving to AT&T will be my course of action as well once my contract is up in November (barring any unforeseen high end [heck, anything!] 2nd gen Windows Phone releases on Verizon). Been sitting on an upgrade for an awfully long time...bummer. I'm crossing my fingers for the Lumia 900 to sell like hotcakes for AT&T - prompting Verizon to "get with the times."
Yeah I'm going to pay my $250 to break the contract this month, I'm taking my family plan of three lines and moving to AT&T. We're going to get them from Amazon, $49 each
I think the only way Verizon will take Windows Phone serious is if people start defecting to competitors and buying Windows Phones from them.
