Sounds like you may need to try a restore from your pc/Mac
Unfortunately I have tried that already and it still is not working.
What about a full restore through phone?
Did you restore it to a save or set up as new phone ?

After resetting please enable imessaging and retest.

I tried a full restore and it still is not working. It worked until I plugged it into my computer to add music back to the phone and after I unplugged it from itunes it no longer worked.
I restored it to an icloud backup/
This did not solve the problem, unfortunately.

is there a way you can assist me with it too. my phone is saying waiting for activation in iMessage it only works through the email one not my phone number like it was working all along just past couple days ago it like not working the way it should be. yes i cleared my phone start it from a new phone instead of a backup and it still dosen't work. i need iMessage to show my number while sending it out and i can recieve at my phone number not the email one.
