Besides their is no way that a sd card will access and write faster than a phones flash memory.

Worse ideal ever....

top part I agree...

bottom part it's subjective.  it depends on the class of the nand and the class of the sdcard.

You are right that there is veribles that could make a diffrence but lets look at realisticlly, a sd card isnt really made to be accessed constantly and almost non-stop which would happen if a popular app is installed on it, this will simply take the card out faster..   Its made for storage and not a primary drive.

Correct realistically that is true, but most people don't know the difference.  It's a marketing ploy to put cheaper and smaller nands into their phones, and market the portable expandable storage to compete with what the iPhone.
It's honestly the reason I believe the last 2 Nexus devices DO NOT have an SD card slot and more memory(Nexus S, and Galaxy Nexus).  I think Google is trying to force manufacturers to compete with their devices to put more memory into devices as well as that expandable slot.

I put all my apps on the SD Card that will install there. No issues at all.

Some apps must be run from memory and will not install to the SD Card.

Our onboard storage is only 2.5 gig.

Maybe mine works so well because I am rooted Team BAMF Forever 1.0.8

I just got 24 hours of battery life on the standard battery and no voicemail issues either.

Wildman I know your feelings,  But it's my phone.

I store all of my apps on the internal memory and havent gad any issues with storage, I have 1.5 left with over 13 apps installed.

I am not sure what that means because I never said anything about your device, id you are speaking about being rooted, I have came to decision that each to their own and once again I point out I am not against using this method.

I too have moved all the apps I can to the SD card with absolutely no performance issues.  Some apps can't be moved.  I have to assume that those apps that can be moved have been written to operate from the card.

On my old droid I would move apps to the SD card because there was hardly any internal memory on that phone(256mb if I remember right). The Apps would work fine 90% of the time. The biggest problem I had was that when the phone would reboot it would take forever, and in some cases it would never, load the app that were saved to the SD card. One nice thing about my Gnexus is there is no option for that, so all my apps work wonderfully

Only applications that has been designed to function from SD Card can be moved to the SD Card...

Is there any reason you want to try to move the apps to the card?  Keep in mind that the storage card wont perform as fast as internal memory because of transfer restriction of the card and reader but basically you wont notice the difference because it is usually so miner in most situations.
