        Shoot!

         

        The only other thing that I can think of is if you are accidentally adding a space at end of your username when you are entering it. I know I have to watch that when I log into various sites.

          Believe me, I have thought of that and been sure to backspace.  And when I've tried in on my computer I've used Roboform which is my password manager.  It automatically fills in forms and works fine on the https://community.verizonwireless.com/message/787930#787930 link but not on the

          https://vzwsupport.jive-mobile.com:443/#jive-discussion?content=%2Fapi%2Fcore%2Fv2%2Fdiscussions%2F768809 one.

            If you are getting the one like the screenshot, you are on the mobile site, try scrolling to bottom and click full site and change logon to Community Member Profile.. 

            • Also have you tried closing the browser completely?  
            • Also did you set the browser to remember your password?

            One more thing maybe the account has been locked out, you can click the forgot password option under login area and change the password and see if that helps..

              That looks like a URL I get from my computer, not my phone.  When you get an email notifying you that I replied to this, does it look like the image I included above? And if you click on the View the Full discussion (using your phone, not your pc) do you get one of the images above? I don't. I get the link I included above.

                In the dolphin browser, you can change the settings to get the desktop version of all websites. I know that it isn't ideal, but it might allow you to log in to the community using the version you are familiar with on the computer.

                 

                Have you tried that?

                  That is a screen shot of my phone...  When you select the Full Site option at bottom of mobile page it will reload page and it will be the same site view as your desktop...  The mobile site has been useless since the site upgrade that was down a month or so back...

                    I know that the Jive login doesn't like like what Wildman posted. I don't have access to post pictures at this moment since I am posting from the mobile (Jive) version.

                     

                    I have occasionally gotten errors with the Jive mobile site, but they don't usually involve the login portion.

                      It has improved recently, Wildman. I can now access the individual sections of the community without a backdoor access that I had utilized.

                        Yeah Ann, I have had better luck with the site recently, I still hope they work out these little bugs that we still have..

                          I only use a community profile and I can log into the community from both the phone and the Jive mobile site.

                          Ann, I don't know if this helps in troubleshooting, but I find if - logging in as SallyC from my pc -  I use the dropdown menu and select Community Member Profile, I get the same invalid name or password. 

                           

                          So apparently the only way I can log in is using the My Verizon Personal Account username of SpyglassSally.  If I log in using that I can still access the forum, where my username is SallyC.  This did not used to be the case - it changed a week or two ago.  Up until then I logged into the forums with SallyC and into My Verizon with SpyglassSally.  This may have been when my trouble logging into the forums using my phone started too.
