I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8 computer. When I open the VZAccess Manager, from the list, I click Verizon Wireless - VZAccess, and I click "Connect WWAN" button on the bottom right. However, when I click that, I get the following. Please help!
If you have a newer MiFi 2200 OTA, identified with OTA on the label under the battery, you don't need Access Manager to activate the unit.
Connect via WiFi to the SSID noted on the label, and the WEP password noted on the label, or under the battery as ESN (decimal).
I think I used it once as a USB modem on Ubuntu, but now I just use it as a hotspot, OS agnostic.
I do use the USB Modem mode on Windows 7 using the driver that appears on the "drive" when it is connected via USB.
I have not loaded Access Manager on Windows or Linux.
@evdotech , this is the Non Contract, remember!
@ClarDold , this isn't the 0TA version, it's this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Verizon+Wireless+-+Refurbished+MiFi+2200+3G+No-Contract+Mobile+Hotspot/3369498.p?id=1218396587084&skuId=3369498
