Doesn't Verizon make enough money from our bills every month? The only way to avoid this new charge is to enroll in auto bill pay, pay by VZW gift card, pay in store, or to pay by check. My question is, are they going to start paying us for the problems with the phones and with the service that we supposedly buy from them?
I am going to start sending them a check every month, back to the non-green movement. I'm thinking of also opting out of the paperless statements, and make them send me a bill every month...
We need to display our disappointment with Verizon with this new fee. This was put in place to make it convenient for customers to pay their bill online, and now they want to charge you for that.....
MY bank is right next to a Verizon store so every month I am going to go to the bank and get my Verizon payment in small bills and change and go to the store to pay my bill and waste the employees time. You would think Verizon would rather have people pay over the phone or online so as to not waste employees time but again this is just another example of corporate greed and how the people in charge are so far out of touch with reality.
I agree, this is pretty shiesty. Just like banks charging a monthly fee for debit card use just to pad their profit margin when it requires no effort on their part to handle the transactions. It's creative billing like this that greatly reduces my loyalty to business who practice these tactics.
What does that even mean? We don't know how to do what? Pay to be able to pay our bill?
