Photos from Computer to Phone

I'm a new LGE Revere user. I cannot find anything in the PDF manual that addresses how to load personal photos stored on my computer hard drive to my phone.  Is it possible to do so with the Revere phone?  If so, how is it done?  Many thanks to anyone who can help.:smileyhappy:

Hi

While you're viewing this forum, located toward the top of the screen are two search boxes -- one of them located underneath the word "Support" will search just this forum for any previous discussions involving the word(s) you enter in the box; the second search box located at the far upper-right corner of the screen will search just Verizon's website (verizonwireless.com) for any tips involving the word(s) you enter in the box.

I found this information (below) when I entered the phrase "Revere pictures" into either search box.

"Transfer pictures from the LG Revere?"

"Downloading pics to my computer"

"Send Picture Message - LG Revere VN150"

Good morning MojaveMoon,

Thanks so much for your reply.  When I searched I found what you have, that is, information regarding sending a photo from the phone to the computer, rather than the other way around which is my concern.  However, you do have two links at the bottom that that I had not seen that seem as though they could be a work-around by sending an email with a photo attachment to my own phone and then saving the photo to the phone.  Does that make sense to you? Yes? No?  Any other possibilities?

Verizon reps told me I could do it but in truth I can't. Unless I pay for a data package. Why would I have an expensive data package but a cheapo basic phone? Why don't they just tell you that phone can't do it? Every day of the next two years I will regret ever walking into the Verizon store. Everytime my phone rings with its lame ringtone (because I can't transfer music from my computer) I will be reminded of how Verizon lied. And I will count the days until I can terminate my "contract" with Verizon.

Don't feel bad I'm in same boat. They keep getting rid of the phones I like, with the features I want. If I had not lost my previous phone or could have got the same one again I would be happy. I just want a phone with camera that I can direct transfer photos to /from pc. My old phone had SD card so not too bad. I thought that with USB I could transfer photos, but no. When I hooked up to PC it started installing modem software? Guess I will have to select phone over carrier next time.

Hopefully the original poster has already found a solution, but to the last two posters ...

You don't need to use data to put photos on your phone. When you first connect your phone to your PC, it has to install drivers. Once finished, your computer will recognize your phone as a USB drive and you can copy and paste photos from computer to phone. If your computer doesn't finish installing drivers, get the file from the manufacturer's site or this site.
