How do i delete my Yahoo email account from phone??

For the past 2 day's, i've been trying to delete my secondary yahoo account from my phone.  I have gone into the settings->accounts & sync ->choose my account ->remove....

I continue to get updates and sync with that account.  I have also gone into the applicaitons and deleted it from there....still no luck.  I continue to get emails from my yahoo acount.  This seems to eat up data and with all the spam that happens on these email accounts, i'd rather just go to the site and check it that way.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you using the stock app or the 3rd party app?  Try removing all accounts and add only the wanted accounts and see if that helps..  Also you should have a option under app to detumain how often the account retrieves emails, this can control date use better.
