message notification light

I just got the Charge and when I receive a text, there is no little green/blue light in the top right corner of phone to indicate there is a new message. Is there something I can do to turn this function on?

You have to get a 3rd party app, such as NoLED from the market.

If I remember correctly the Charge does not have a notification led, if you want something like that you have to search the market to find a app for this..

Thank you so much! I'm gonna ask a stupid question ... there is no way to turn the led light on? Looking at my phone I swear I can see 2-3 small dots in the upper right corner that look like LED lights.

That's probably proximity sensors for when you place device to face the backlight turns off... From what I read there isn't any leds installed on the device.

Hey folks, what's with this?  With my Charge phone every time I get a message there is a notification on the display.  I get a green colored message icon in the upper left corner of the display.  It looks just like the messaging icon at the bottom of the display and my phone plays the notification tone sound.

I also get a notification and ring tone sound every time I receive an EMAIL.

My question is, why would I need a special APP to do this when my phone is already doing it?
