copy contacts from SIM card

I have a SIM card in my old cellphone, with a prepaid plan.  Can I insert my SIM card into my new Incredible 2 and copy the contacts from the card?

Thanks for posting kkimerling, and congratulations on your new DROID Incredible 2 by HTC!

 

The SIM card that comes with your DROID Incredible 2 is used for global purposes.  The SIM from your previous prepaid device would not work in the Incredible.  However, if you still have the prepaid phone, you can take both phones into one of our local corporate store locations for a possible phonebook transfer.  Find a store here.
