I received an anonymous text message today that was generated on the Verizon website. My question is, is there any way to find out where or who sent the message? A second part to this question is, do you have to be logged on to send a msg via Verizon website?
You don't have to be logged in, you can just go to www.vtext.com and send a message to any Verizon Wireless number. You can also put whatever you want for the callback number. If you block "messages from the internet" on your line, I believe it will block messages from this service.
There's really no way to figure out who sent it, but if you feel like the service is being abused, I would report the message to Verizon by contacting them.
