HELP! Can I retrieve deleted pictures!

It doesn't hurt to ask but is there anyway to restore pictures that were deleted?  Last night I wanted to send my pictures to my email address and my phone froze and I hit a button and BAM!  All of my pictures were gone  

I didn't save them to an online album or pix place.  They were all on my media card.  Can I somehow restore the phone perhaps?

If they were on the media card there are programs to recover from the media card, google for them.  You have to make sure and not use the media card  or you will over write them and also don't format the medica card.  I had a good program I used years ago when I accidetally deleted some from my digital camera card but can't remember the  name of it at the moment.  Here are a few reccomendations from which is a great computing site.  Also google Kim Komando and I bet she has some good links for these programs.   Mary
