I love my Kin TWOm & I feel like its a really nice phone but does have bugs. Well anyways my current phone was defective & had a few issues so I sent in for a replacement & got the replacement within 2 days. Here is my complaint so maybe verizon will see this. Ive already called about the issue but I feel like I wanted to make it public
I got a Brand new Kin TWOm as part of my upgrade & it needed to be replaced. Here is my problem. When you send out a replacement at least make sure its the same quality as a new phone. I know its a replacement but **bleep** the Quality of the replacement KIN you sent me was horrible
the things that irritated me
1. The phone was absolutely filthy. Dirt in the screws in the back where the battery goes & just dirt really all over the phone
2. In the front of the phone below the touch screen it looked like some once had some sort of sticker there & was peeled off. It took forever to get the sticker glue off the phone without scratching it.
It took around 30 minutes to clean the phone but once cleaned it really does look brand new. Overall satisfied that I got a new phone but not happy with the quality that it came in. A customer should never have to take time to clean a phone that is supossed to be replaced.

I'm sorry to learn about the condition of your replacement phone. A Certified Like-New Replacement normally goes through a number of steps prior to being sent out . Below I have provide you with a snapshot of this process:
1. The phone is power cycled up to nine times.
2. Receives at least two manual functional tests.
3. Electronically function-tested four times.
4. The phone is checked for/cleared of any possible customer information at least twice, as well as passes numerous other quality checks.
5. Visual Cosmetic Inspection
6. Functional Inspection
7. Computerized Radio Frequency Testing
8. Functional Repair and Reconditioning
9. Cosmetic Repair and Reconditioning
10. Computerized Software Updates
11. Computerized Customer Information Check and Clear

Well, that is pretty bad service; I would have sent it back, and asked for a phone that is actually brand new. I have a feeling that Verizon will respond to your request, and give you a new phone, should you ask for one.
I've got a KinOnem that I really like- it's a pretty cool little phone, but it has a habit of changing the ringer volume by itself- I've missed calls because the ringer has changed to "silent" by itself! Irritating- well, they are going to send a replacement to me, and if it's anything like yours, I'm gonna be pretty angry about it. Just my two cents.

I can honestly tell you that #5 & $9 on this phone was a huge failure. Who ever sent this phone out must have been completely blind because this phone was filthy & I wish I would of taken pictures of its condition. I am disappointed still on the quality the phone came in. Even now that I have cleaned this phone to pretty much spotless I should have just returned it. Its sad to think that I ordered a Brand new phone & I am stuck with a phone that came in a filthy condition & God knows how long this phone was abused for.

I had the exact same problem with my replacement phone. It looked as if the screen hadn't been cleaned--it was covered with smudges and what looked like scratches but came off. The black parts of the front screen had glue residue. The phone cleaned up nicely with an electronic cleaning wipe but I am very disappointed in Verizon. It seems very unprofessional to label a phone as "like new" and not even bother to clean it.

I wish I could give this{word filter avoidance} back to verizon personally. I am really starting to hate this phone It has great features but the numerous bugs are really starting to get my my nerves
This entire phone was a huge waste of my time. I am calling in the morning & this phone is going back. Either they are going to give me a good replacement or a new option. This phone is **bleep** me off.
Numerous times I slide open the phone & for some reason the phones screen goes black & most of the time when I get a photo from my brother in a TXT I open the photo and the screen goes black & I gotta fittle with the {word filter avoidance} to get it to work.
I am sick of OS chugging around liek it doesnt know what the hell its doing. Im sorry but im going on my 3rd **bleep** phone in a month. What kind of garbage phone is this? yes it has nice features but jeeze its getting annoying.

A quick google search would have helped you. The phone is trash, in my opinion
But you chose it and are under contract with it.. not really much you can do at this point

There is always ways around everything. One way or another if I have to sell it on craigslist & cancel my service I will. Does not bother me one bit. Also I did not choose this phone, Yes I should of done the research but the Verizon rep highly talked up this phone & recommended the phone to me. I chose the phone based on her opinion alone & that was a stupid mistake.

Does anyone else have this problem with the Speak Phone where its really really low? Even on 20 you can barely hear it. Im not sure if its just my replacement that I have now or what. Thats one of the biggest complaints right now for me cause I dont like headsets or anything in or on my ear so when I drive I use the speaker phone but I cant really hear anything.
