As soon as I make a call the screen goes black even if I have the screen set to stay on. The only way to end the call is to push the power button than the screen will come on and I can hit the end phone button. My husband has the same phone and when he takes the phone away from his ear the screen comes on so he can hang up. How do I get that on my phone. I have compared both phones and it seems like everything is checked the same. Thanks

Do you have a screen proector that covers the proximity sensors at the top left of the screen? Even if the screen protector is crystal clear it will interfer with the screen turning back on when you remove it from your face. Correct screen protectors will have a cutout for the sensors.

The screen is infrared touch sensitive, so it assumed I was still holding it to my ear.
Im still having problems.
Has your husband tried using your phone? When my GF kids use my phone, they have no problems.

Thanks for the info....I don't think that's what I do but I will make sure I don't touch the screen. My husband has tried the phone and it does it for him too so I think there is a problem with my phone. I just got it 4 days ago but I will take it back to the store to find out what's going on.

I agree... If the problem is consistent. I would take it back.
But The problem seems like it's only me, so for now, I have to learn how to hold the phone a different way.
I never had any problems with my Blackberry's Non-Touch screen.
I'm getting too old for this new tech stuff.
I can't type using the touch screen either, because my paws are too big.
So have to either use the keyboard or the voice command.

YEA! i wish that was my problem!
I'm doing better. I'm being real careful on how I hold my phone.
Good Grief Charlie Brown... I may have to trade down away from this touch screen.
My GF and her kids love this phone. but not I, and I'm the primary person that uses it.
