Any GM Owners With Droid X Bluetooth in Auto Issues

Anyone using their X in their GM car having bluetooth issues? Not connectivity, but sound issues for music. Other phone functions are normal.

The bluetooth for music is lower fidelity and sort of muted. Using USB cable, music is excellent.

Tried GM's support site and the Camaro SS forums. Thinking it is what it is. Is this common for music over bluetooth through vehicle stereos?

Most manufacturers release a list of devices that they have tested for their vehicles.  However in my own experience it's been hit or miss as far as bluetooth connectivity.  Some radios function fine with them and others have issues with certain phones or even certain releases of Operating Systems.

With that said, bluetooth devices have a sweet spot.  If you have the device closer than about 12 inches to the reciever there can be problems which could cause some static or disrupted audio.
