How do I utilize the hotspot from a blackberry bold 8650?

BB only have tethered options, call vzw and get the service active.

 

You will need vz acess manager (vzam.net) installed on your computer

Hi,

Did you mean Bold 9650, as there is no 8650.  I'm sure just a typo.  However, none of the Blackberry devices support providing a hotspot for other devices to utilize WiFi such as the HTC Thunderbold or the iPhone 4.  Perhaps this will be a feature added in future Blackberry releases.

Thank you for the information provided. The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is not Mobile Hotspot capable. This device has the option to tether it to a PC. Click this link to learn more about tethering your device: http://www.verizonwireless.com/mobilehotspot
